ICOR
The Santa Maria Heart Institute - ICOR - originally designed in 1995, was founded in 2000 by two of the greatest cardiologists in Latin America, Rubem Rodrigues - creator of the RS Institute of Cardiology and the POA of Cardiology University Foundation; and Carlos Alberto Bertolasi - a founding member of the Favaloro Foundation in Buenos Aires.
Together with their colleagues from Cinecardio and Cardiocentro clinics, they founded the ICOR, with a philosophy focused on Science, the Ethics and Humanism, encompassing various services such as echocardiographic, Hemodynamics, Carotid and Vertebral, Mat, Holter 24 HS, Renal, aortoiliac abdominal &, ECG, vascular Doppler, Map, Electrophysiological Study and Cardiovascular Surgery.
After developing an application for Android and iOS, published in Google Play and Apple App Store, the ICOR has increased the number of readers of the published news and visitors in their clinics. We can therefore say that with the application creation initiative it was possible to record an increase in awareness of the important aspects to take into account the level of health and well being of its members.
